The Forum of Aveiro is one of the great buildings that we can see in the city of Aveiro and where you can also take the opportunity to go shopping or eating and discover everything it has to offer.
Inaugurated on 29 September 1998, it was the first outdoor shopping center in the country, representing a new type of shopping center concept in Portugal, in which gardens, green areas and public spaces predominate, thus being the pioneers of this concept.
The Aveiro Forum location is right in the heart of the city and easily accessible to several other tourist attractions in the city. In 1990, it was awarded the Mipim Award for the best shopping center in Europe, we must also mention that in 2018, it received the Portugal Five Stars award, in the category of Shopping Centers in Portugal.
It is worth highlighting the colors and textures of the highly selected materials during its construction, thus allowing the contemporary architectural style to be harmonized with the architecture of the city, which earned it the International of Shopping Centers (ICSC) award.
Currently, its food court has been renovated, leaving it with more than 10 different areas, guided by the comfort and modernity that define the standards of the contemporary consumer, in a totally comfortable and welcoming space with free Wi-Fi and much more.
